The first edition of the Summer School brought social
entrepreneurs from domains such as health, livelihood, microfinance, agriculture and energy. Faculty from IIT Madras engaged with the participants on variety of topics from ‘Theories of Social Entrepreneurship’ to’Business Model’ and ‘Design Thinking’. This was interspersed with field visits to local social enterprises in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu.
