Piramal eSwasthya - uses telemedicine to deliver high-quality, affordable primary healthcare to rural patients. It trains local women to become healthcare workers who open local clinics (microfranchises). These women use cell phones to connect with the Piramal call center, where staff and doctors use diagnostic technology to instruct them on what treatment to provide. Since 2008, Piramal e-Swasthya has treated 40,000 patients in 40 villages.
Embrace Infant Warmer (only distribution in India)- an innovative, low cost infant warmer for vulnerable babies in developing countries. Temperature regulation is a key problem among low-birth-weight and premature babies. Embrace has developed an infant warmer that costs a fraction of the price of existing solutions, and that functions without a continuous supply of electricity. The design looks like a miniature sleeping bag that incorporates a phase change material, which stays at a constant temperature for up to 6 hours. This maintains babies' body temperature to help them survive and thrive.
3nethra (Forus Health)– single, portable, intelligent, non-invasive, non-mydriatic eye pre-screening device that can detect the above 5 major ailments. It connects primary care centres to secondary or tertiary care centres through telemedicine for remote diagnosis. Device is low-cost and hence reduces direct and indirect cost of screening, making it available to rural populations. Screening in rural areas will help hospitals identify patients at early stages.

Specialty Eye Care is available at affordable price to everyone where no patient is turned back un-attended because he cannot afford. 55% surgeries were done at free of cost (5,500 out of total 11,430 operations). Dimagi – product CommCare is an open source mobile platform for community health workers. CommCare comprises a mobile phone app and web interface made available to remote health facilities, including NGOs, public health organizations, research institutions and governments. This allows health programs to store and access patient information and perform case management for at-risk patients.
