Idea Spark Event

The Centre encourages and supports Innovative ideas and Inventions by students from various domain like Engineering, Polytechnics and Arts through Idea Competitions every year. It specifically supports ideas related Engineering Technologies that will benefit the Artisans and Farmers community.

The Winners will receive Prize Money & Mentor support for further Prototype development from CSIE & IITM Faculty respectively.

About the Event

The Center For Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CSIE) as a part of its Social Entrepreneurship Promotion Project, conducted the Grand Finale of Idea Spark competition along with the Shaastra Event of IIT Madras on 6th January 2020 at IIT Madras.

The theme of the Event was” Promoting Sustainable Livelihood Technologies of Indian Artisans”. The main objective of the event was to facilitate technology transfer to the Indian Artisans who lack Modern Technological support.

The Participants Include students from Engineering and arts Colleges of Tamilnadu.
